When will you have puppies available?
The best way to know whether we have puppies available is to call us!
When will a Boston Terrier puppy be ready for its new home?
Generally, a new puppy will be ready to go when they are 8-9 weeks old. The exact timing will depend on the health and needs of the puppy.
Where are your dogs and puppies raised?
Our dogs and puppies are raised in the house. They grow up surrounded by people, including myself, my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Boston Terriers are social dogs that require companionship. We believe that it is very important to raise our dogs and puppies in the home. They are part of our family.
What is included when I purchase a puppy?
When you purchase a new puppy from us, the puppy will have been examined by a veterinarian, and will have received its first vaccinations. The puppy will have been microchipped, and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.
In addition, you receive the following:

A pedigree showing the puppy's lineage for several generations. You will see that your puppy comes from a long line of Canadian Champion dogs;

6 weeks of pet insurance; and
-
A 5lb bag of puppy food (we use and recommend Fromm Family pet food).
Are there any conditions on the sale of the puppy?
Yes! By purchasing a puppy from us, you are agreeing that the dog is to be used as a pet/ companion dog, and not for resale, breeding, or exclusively as a performance animal.
Any puppy sold will be subject to a Non-Breeding Agreement that prohibits the owner from using the dog for breeding purposes.

Is Sassy Kennel registered with the Canadian Kennel Club? Why should I care?
Yes! We are a registered member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). The CKC is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada.
The CKC sets the breeding standards and guidelines for purebred dogs, and advocates for the ethical and genetically sound breeding of dogs.
To be recognized as a member of the CKC, its members are required to follow the CKC policies and procedures, Member of Code of Ethics, and Code of Practice for CKC Member Breeders.
By buying a dog from a registered member of the CKC, you are assured that you are not buying a puppy that has been irresponsibly or unethically bred or raised. You are assured that you are not supporting a puppy mill.
